Here's a solution by StormKing:
I took the .SAV file, renamed it as a .MOD file, loaded that into the Toolset and chose 'Export' from the File menu. Under Resources of Type, I chose 'Area File' and selected one of the 2 areas in my module. I saved it (though it said 'Open' oddly enough) as it came up where it came up. Then I exported the 2nd (the other) area the same way. Then I started a new module, went through the wizard as quickly as possible. I then imported my two areas I just saved from the old file into the new module, deleting the area I had to create to open a new module, and voila!-- my areas were back and all the extraneous BAD stuff making it unable to load under the 'Play' area of the game was gone.
DISCLAIMER: Some of the scripts didn't make it over, so I had to export them and import them over, also. The Area Properties weren't set up right. The Module Information was gone. And at first my Encounters I'd set up didn't work any more, (the information wouldn't come up in the Properties window, but after I rebooted the computer they were just fine. Overall, for a simple 2 area module, the process of rebuilding took about 1 hour.
