Why Can't I Download The Pictures?
There is a simple reason for this: COSTS. It costs a lot of money to run a site like famousbabes and it's an incredible burden when there are leechers who steal our pictures and our bandwidth. These are websites that link directly to our picture directory instead of storing the files on their own servers. We've mentioned many times that anyone is free to use our pictures, so long as they host them on their own servers. Carrying this extra bandwidth puts not only a tremendous strain on our servers, but also our wallets. Other webmasters can relate, but for the uninitiated, it's a cruel reality of running a website.
In order to prevent websites from leeching our pictures, we've installed a small script on the server that prevents downloading from all domains except famousbabes. In other words, if the link did not originate from a page on famousbabes.com, then you'll be sent back to the main page. Similarly, people can no longer shift+download with netscape, "save link/target as", nor use download agents (Getright, Download Accelerator, etc). You'll end up either getting something in the originating directory, or downloading an html file of our mainpage.
THERE IS NO PASSWORD PROTECTION OR MISSING FILES OF ANYKIND ON THE SERVER. YOU DON'T HAVE TO PAY, GIVE OUT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION, REGISTER OR ANYTHING OF THE SORT TO ACCESS THE PICTURES. FAMOUSBABES IS STILL FREE.
So How Do I F---ing Download Then?
For most people, you probably haven't noticed anything because you've always downloaded the pictures by first clicking on the thumbnail, then right-clicking and "save picture/image as". But for everyone else, this is what you have to do from now on.
This means that
you must download from famousbabes.com and not another domain
you must not use a download manager or accelerator
you must first click a thumbnail then right-click and "save picture/image as"
you must use your browser to do the above
if your ISP uses a proxy (ie AOL, college dorm net access), give it a few days and try again
AOL users should try using internet explorer or netscape navigator and not the AOL browser
people accessing the site via corporate LAN or some other kind of big internet, inter-office infrastructure (universities, financial companies, or just about any office place that shares a connection) should consult with their system administrator regarding any protection or censoring programs installed on the network.
Also try to clear your cache, This can be done in your "preferences" or "internet options" of your browser. When I say, "you must download from famousbabes.com", this means you should make sure that the url in the "location" or "address" box near the top of your browser begins with "http://www.famousbabes.com" and nothing else.
If the above solutions don't work, check to see if your ISP (internet service provider) is using a proxy of some kind. This affects some users who may not be aware of it, including AOL users. We've tested the solutions above many times with various connections from around the world and 90% of the time, they work. the other 10% was because of proxy issues with the ISP, such as AOL. On one AOL account, it took a day or so before we were finally routed properly. I repeat, contact your isp if the above solutions don't work because then it is their problem, not ours. I know, I know, this is a pain in the ass for many, but we simply can't stand these leechers anymore.
We're working very hard to restore the shift+download and "save link/target as" feature at the very least. If you didn't know, there was a shortcut with netscape that allowed users to merely hold down the shift key and left click to start a download session. This was much, MUCH more convenient then going to every thumbnail and right-clicking and "save link/target as".

Moi je la vois pas. J'atterris sur la page qui m'explique pourquoi j'y arrive pas. En fait c'est que je suis pas abonnée comme toi et donc j'ai pas l'accès à ces photos. Par contre sur le reste du site j'ai accès à la plupart des trucs. Mais dès que c'est des photos "oséees" il faut être enregistré.
