The following behaviors are not accepted of anyone while playing in The 4th Prophecy (T4P) or in posting anywhere within the official T4P website. The representatives of Vircom Interactive will reprimand offenders as they see fit. The reprimand can range anywhere between a simple warning to complete account deletion.

Reporting abuse
If you ever witness or are the victim of such unauthorized behavior, please note the name of the name of the offending player(s), the T4P server you were playing on, the date and time of the offense and write to the T4P support team at support@4thprophecy.com.

It is also a good idea to activate the Backscroll's Log to file option in the game's Options menu. The Backscroll options allow you to determine whether you want to log everything that is said to you and/or what you say to people, and to save it in a file if you so desire. This is handy when, once you have quit the game, you want to go back and see what was said exactly and by whom.

Prohibited in-game conduct
Harassing or threatening another player (real life, or out of character). When threatening another character while roleplaying, it is important to exercise judgment and good taste so the other player can understand the threat was not directed towards him personally.

Using offensive or harmful language such as sexually explicit language, racist expressions, excessively threatening language (out of character), and obscene terms.

Using the game mechanics in a way that can be considered abusive or sexually charged.

Abusing Game Master (GM) privileges for personal gain or to give unfair advantages to other players.

Impersonating a NPC (such as Harbinger or Jarko) or a Vircom Interactive employee.

Creating or taking part in a guild that violates any of the rules cited above.

Excessive use of Player versus Player (PvP) features.

Copyright and security violations
Modifying any part of The 4th Prophecy, unless otherwise condoned by Vircom Interactive be it on the client side, the server side or the web site.

Selling, trading or transferring pirated games or software via The 4th Prophecy servers or any T4P web sites.

Registering to The 4th Prophecy under a false name or other personal information (this does not include the user name (also known as account name), which can be fictional).

Giving or uploading any copyrighted material on any The 4th Prophecy sites or servers without ownership or approval from the owner.

Trying to get access to, or gaining access to transmissions to or from any of the The 4th Prophecy or Vircom Interactive servers through hacking or any other illegal means.

Bug exploitation or sharing of any bug(s) with other player(s) for exploitation purposes. You should report any of these bugs you encounter.

Trying to play on any other server than those controlled by or authorized by Vircom Interactive.

Emulating a The 4th Prophecy server or giving away an emulator.

*chantonne* "gonna change the world..."
