What a great job, yesterday. 3lmd took and participated in taking Hasterie and Givet and it cptured the Bearuaing Bunker twice but not get the last flag! What fun!

We did lose Haybes sometime on 3rd Shift, but we fought hard for it yesterday and they did too. It was a great battle.

Smedley is running Corps Cav as Blackhawk is on leave of absence form command. His orders:

Continue to open FBs whenever possible. The fewer FBs the Germans have to work with, the less time we have to spend defending towns.


3CD - Hold Namur, Charleroi, Flavion, Profondeville
Work on opening a buffer around Namur. Rotate between Gembloux, Eghezee & Andenne

3LMD - Hold Vireaux, Hastiere, Givet, Revin, (Montherme)
Retake Haybes, then attempt to move east to Feschaux & Beauraing to pull Germans from the center of the Corps lines.

News & Notes:
A major Axis operation was initiated January 1. AHC Intelligence (no comments) expects that the bulk of the German assaults will be through our territory this time. Previous German operations have been aimed at the northern and southern Allied lines. Make sure your people are ready and have someone respond to any German activity.

Brigade & Division Officers: Be sure your unit Brigade/Division Channels are manned at all times. This will allow the AHC OIC to know they can send you additional troops and that those troops will find someone when they get there.

Operation Thunderbolt (continuous operation running until next map reset) will be starting tomorrow at 8pm ET. Orders should be coming down the pipe shortly and will be passed down the chain as soon as possible.
