Patch 1.21 et 2DA!!

Par Skanzo Sylan le 24/7/2002 à 19:57:47 (#1855684)

Youppiii :mdr:

:hardos:

Patch Info:
I was talking to Derek French about these this morning. I'll pass along any information to him... but first I do need to know exactly what's going on. The wording of the fix in the patch is a bit misleading... all that was really done was to have all 2DA's re-loaded after a hakpak is associated to a module. According to Derek, some 2DA's are still handled otherwise as exceptions, depending on how they are used (and not easy to track, as the resources are pretty complex). If something isn't working, we'll have to look at the specific 2DA's and trace down where they're being called. Now... so far I've seen the spells.2DA and the appearances.2DA named. Are there any more? Are other 2DA's fixed that didn't work in the hakpak previously? Someone above in this thread mentioned that spells.2DA was working in his hakpak. Is this true? How, exactly, are you guys using these 2DA's? Are you leaving them bundled in the hakpak? Do you have other copies of the file elsewhere (like in Override, in the module folder, etc?) We're more than willing to track down these exceptions, but I'd like to pass on as much info to the programmers as possible
