Events and information about them:

The event teams are currently working on different projects. The purpose of everything they design is to add some pepper to the game, by changing the daily routine of the characters, by bringing the background of the world forward as well as promoting the role-play.

How will that be done?To keep it simple, we have four different elements:
- Background elements.
You will find in our Dark Age of Camelot knowledge database various texts detailing on or more points about the life in your realm.These will not only help you building the story of your character but also create a "common" background for everyone wishing to role-play their characters. On top of that, we use thebackground elements in the other points below.

- New content.
We are not talking about new hunting spots or new weapons, but more about exceptional and rare events. Depending on your ability to react to them, you may learn something about the customs of the inhabitants of your realm, distinguish yourself with courage, follow tracks leading to another event or just get back to your bind stone with no notice.

- Events themselves.
On all servers, all realms, events already started and will continue. For organisation reasons (and to avoid having 1200 players coming to help a poor baker in distress), they will generally not be announced beforehand and no planning will be available to players. However the event teams often let some hints in the game…On top of that, the teams are keeping a close look on what you, players, are doing (events, epic hunts, large scale RvR battles, etc...) in order to, when possible; modify the events according to the story of your server.

- About campaigns.
For those of you familiar with what is called " pen and paper " role-playing, we use the term campaign as a succession of events, happening over a long period of time and more or less linked together. One of the important points in a campaign is to have the plot evolving with time. Many of the elements you will notice, many of the events you will participate in may only take their real meaning weeks later.

A campaign is therefore more complex than a simple event, it puts in the game a lot of content and, for players, and it is not always easy to grasp the whole story. Most of the time, the campaigns will have a marking effect on the life of the realms. Following a known principle, the plot will slowly thicken more and more to finally reach its apotheosis with large scale events...

...Then will come another campaign, but we are not there yet :)

Pour le moment je n'ai rien vu, mais je ne doute pas que ça ai commençé. Le tout c'est d'être au bon endroit au bon moment. Il y a 2 jours en me connectant sur gorre un matin je suis tombé sur un essai d'anim sur hibernia... Qui laisse présager de sombres machinations et un culte dédié à Balor....
