Hi

Thought I might shed some light on the situation in order for people to know when they will get TNW in European retail:

First of all: all games has been shipped from our warehouse, and all games are on their way to the respective European territories from the warehouse in Ireland.

The main reason for the Euro delay is actually rather simple, so please, no conspiracy theories:-) Some components in the box were printed in the US. The entire shipment of "components" from our US manufacturer was stopped in customs in Ireland. Due to tight slot times for printing in the "x-mas" season we were already on a tight schedule. Since we have our euro printing facility in Ireland we therefore MUST ship to Ireland for euro distribution. This is something which was completely beyond our control, and very sadly, it lead to a complete european delay since all games is coming out from the same printing / distribution facility.

The only exception is German speaking countries, where it will be available from the 3rd. Our partner in the German speaking countries print themselves. Do note however that this means that everyone on “die neue welt” will have equal access possibilities:-)

I expect the game to be available in retail from MONDAY ON. This is dependent on how fast our distributors can ship it out. It should be available all over no later than Wednesday next week, depending on our distributors of course. This includes UK and Ireland (Game / EBUK will receive it on Monday), German speaking countries, nordic region, Italy and many others.

And no, it has not reached Sweden as I saw one mentioned. Not to my knowledge at least:-)

This means full availability for "all" European countries, excluding France who chose to delay until mid-january, from early next week.

I am sorry for the situation, but there is really not much we could have done about it seen in hindsight. We can not demand anything from the customs in Ireland, and in these times you simply can’t ask a printing facility to print a new batch on one days notice. It just doesn’t work that way.

Besides that:

We are not doing this on purpose to the AC2 launch We have never said "do not sell before the 6th in Europe"

Hope this cleared a few things out.

Best regards

Exepter la france, car digital focus se charge de NW et traduit ainsi le manuel et ce qu'il y a dans la boite, d'ou le délai supplémentaire pour les ventes en france, ce qui n'interdit pas d'acheter en import.
