1.53B

Par Hassans Darkan le 6/9/2002 à 23:09:18 (#2111640)

You'll notice the nightshade reversal. Followers of "As The Vault Turns" will note this reversal and rightfully cackle. Inherent STR (based on your character's natural STR, not from items or buffs) has no affect on the power pool of the nightshade, and this was tested before my eyes yesterday. As it happens, items and buffs to STR *do* affect the NS pool, and so the change would have resulted in an overall loss to the class. Sorry. Mmm. Crow. Crunchy. Tastes good with mustard. Thanks for the heads up!

Dark Age of Camelot

Test Version 1.53b

======================================

Camelot Test version 1.53b is a small update to fix some of the problems that have been found in 1.53a.

NEW THINGS AND BUG FIXES

- Nightshades have been returned to the way they are currently on the live severs - we've backed out of the change that makes them reliant on intelligence to buff their casting stats.

- Realm Abilities now have their correct icons. Please note that some of these are different than they are on the live servers, as we've been adding new icons over the last few weeks.

- Primary tanks (the ones that got updated in 1.53a) no longer have two Ignore Pains and two Determination Realm Abilities.

- We finally fixed the long-standing print bug with the display of cloth armor's Armor Factor. You'll see the number go up or down by 1-3 points (depending on your level) because now the correct Armor Factor is being printed. We made this fix now to lessen the confusion over cloth armors now that spellcraft/alchemy are enabled. (A long ago Grab Bag answer still applies, only now it should be correctly displayed - if the armor factor says "45," the armor is level 45. - ST)

- Some monster generators on Pendragon were not spawning correctly. This has been fixed.

- Some pieces of Tir na Nog were disappearing randomly. This has been fixed.

- Several "fall-through" problems in various dungeons fixed.

- Items on 2-5 pages of stores showed grayed out/"unusable" even when your class could use them. This has been fixed.

SPELLCRAFT/ALCHEMY FIXES

- Weapons should now show if they have been poisoned when delved.

- Spellcraft gems and tinctures now show correct information when delved.

- Points on items should now be properly calculated now.

- Cloth items have their full number of points

- Tailors can no longer gain skill in Spellcraft (and gemcutting). Those Tailors on Pendragon with skill points in those skills will not lose them, but they will not gain any additional skill no matter how hard they try.

- The "you cannot use this item" popup has been fixed.

- The ability to make a fairly impressive amount of cash by selling back certain dyes has been fixed. It's amazing what a missing 0 (zero) will do.

- Being able to create +# Staff gems in realms outside of Albion is not a bug. Spellcraft allows you to create skill gems that do not increase the ability of said skill (such as Chants). This ability is in the game for now, while we address the possibility that this may be implemented in the future.

- Currently some of the lower end items have a low enough timer that the item may finish being created before the green timer bar finishes. This will be fixed in a future patch by setting the minimum timer value to 1 second.

- We are aware of the incredibly low buyback of the Spellcraft gems currently. This is due to the material values not scaling out as we had intended. We will be looking at this over the weekend as we have to re-evaluate the cost structure for the materials involved.
