hum...

Fixer Quest 1 and 2 written and donated to The Dump by:
Sylrak (L128) Male Solitus Fixer (RK1)

PART II:

IF YOU PLAN ON USING THIS GUIDE TO COMPLETE THE FIXER QUEST, READ THE ENTIRE
GUIDE BEFORE ACCEPTING THE QUEST, SOME TASKS HAVE TO BE PERFOMRED QUICKLY.
Having a Yalmaha, like with everything else will help you in this quest a great
deal. READ THIS BEFORE ACCEPTING THE QUEST.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After completing the first part of the fixer quest, Sirocco will give you the
"Hacker Club Member Chip". Trade Sirocco this card, and don't worry about
failing this part of the quest, for Sirocco gives you the card back so you can
try over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. If you
want to you can ever try over and over and over and over and over again. If you
want to, yea umm okay...;) Anyway, you will have a separate 10 minutes to bring
the "Incomplete Grid Hacker Crystal" to each Cyborg Fixer.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT GET THE QUEST YET!

Unfortunately the three cyborgs you have to visit are not always there. Instead
of the cyborgs you might find lunaspells at their spots. A lunaspell is a
plant. The lunaspells have to be killed until randomly the cyborg spawns. Then
you have to prepare the other spots until you have cyborgs in all three places.
The respawn time after a lunaspell is killed is around 1-40minutes until the
next Lunaspell or cyborg appears. Sorry, just hope the cyborgs are there:/
NOTE: You might need a team of people to kill the Lunaspells, at lvl 116 or so
they're health bar was dark orange to me:(

What you must do is go to the following locations(LOCATIONS PRINTED BELOW) and
make sure the cyborgs are there, if they are then go quickly to Sirocco and get
the mission and do yer stuff. If they are not, kill the plants until all of the
cyborgs are spawned and then go to Sirocco for the mission.

Trade Sirocco the "Hacker Club Member Chip"...he will give it back to you...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sirocco: Interesting indeed... a Fixer and even a Fixer skilled enough to try to
challenge his cyborg colleagues if I may say so

Sirocco: Here, take this back before I forget.

Sirocco: So, do you feel ready for action?

You: Yes.

Sirocco: Let me tell you a bit more then. As you know, the nano you got from me
earlier leads you to a grid that until now has only been open to us Fixers, the
hackers themselves. But recently we noticed that someone had managed to get in
there with whole groups of people at a time.

Sirocco: Yes it is true, no need to look at me like that!

Sirocco: well, anyway. The Loungers have been working frantically towards
discovering what the heck is going on and what we have learned is that there are
actually some Cyborg hackers that have broken the code necessary to travel with
groups in there.

Sirocco: Yes Cyborgs!! It is true I swear, if you continue looking at me like
that we can of course just start talking about something else.

Sirocco looks a bit hurt.

You: I believe you.

Sirocco: Alright then.

Sirocco still looks a bit hurt, but he is obviously so excited by the mysteries
surrounding groups traveling inside the Fixer Grid that he soon forgets anything
else.

Sirocco: In short, what we have found is that the group nano is made much the
same way as the previous one. But this time the only ones we know about with
the skills needed to modify the intermediate stages of the crystal are cyborgs
and to make it even better, we only know of the two first steps in the process.

Sirocco: First you need to find a Cyborg Grid-Jumper, he updates the first
crystal. The second one is a Cyborg Grid-Hacker. Where you find them is not
known and after that we know nothing, not who is next or how many they are in
all.

Sirocco: So, are you ready or do you need to do some more research into this
matter before you feel good to go?

You: I am ready for action.

Sirocco: Outstanding! I am very excited about this business and I hope you make
it, the only thing that might happen is that you could end up dead like all the
others that have tried this. But don't let that get you down, remember, if all
else fails, mindless optimism and pig-headed stubbornness will see you through!
Now give me a few while I prepare this initial version of the crystal. And
remember to hurry along as soon as you get it, this stuff does not last long.

Sirocco: There, I think I got it right.

Sirocco: Good luck!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here are the locations:USE YOUR NEW FIXER GRID NANO TO GET TO EACH EASIER:
WARNING: All cyborgs will attack you. Before getting the mission from Sirocco
remember to put your DEF-----AGG slider on DEF. If one should happen to hit
you, you have a better chance of surviving. A good idea is, if the cyborg
attacks you just run away out of view distance and go back and try the trade
again. They don't seem to follow you when you run.

1. Cyborg Grid-Jumper, Southern Artery Valley 1740x1180. - SAV is on the 7th
level of the fixer grid.
There are 3 exit points for Southern Artery Valley, Fixers take the middle Fixer
grid exit for Southern Artery Valley. Immediately after gridding in, the
Cyborg should be to your left.
Quickly go up to the Cyborg, and TRADE it the "incomplete nanocrystal". You
have to be fairly close to the cyborg to trade. WAIT for "mission complete" and
mission music. If you have Reckless Digitization, use it to get back to the
grid quickly. I'm sorry, but I don't know of any quicker way to do it than with
Reckless Digitization:(

2. Cyborg Grid-Hacker, Southern Foul Hills 1530x3170. - SFH is on the 7th level
of the fixer grid.
Fixers take the second exit for Southern Foul Hills, NOT the one directly at the
Arrow Up symbol. NOTE: You need a Yalmaha to get to this Cyborg, for the Cyborg
stands on a gigantic boulder as does it's Lunaspell.
Quickly go up to the Cyborg, and TRADE it the "incomplete nanocrystal". WAIT
for "mission complete" and mission music. If you have Reckless Digitization,
use it to get back to the grid quickly. I'm sorry, but I don't know of any
quicker way to do it than with Reckless Digitization:(

3. Cyborg Fixer, Southern Artery Valley 2750x1220. - SAV is on the 7th level of
the fixer grid.
Fixers take the same exit for SAV as for the first Cyborg and then fly east
until you get to the coordinates, it is by a waterfall. It may seem like a long
way, but keep going you will see the water fall eventually.

CONGRATULATIONS YOU HAVE COMPLETED THE SECOND (and of course, last) HALF OF THE
FIXER QUEST. YOU SHOULD NOW HAVE THE "HACK GRID DATA STREAM (TEAM)" NANO
CRYSTAL, ENJOY!!!
